A career spanning 20 years in professional basketball saw Zan Tabak divide his time between America and Europe, earning accolades on both continents for his contribution to the game.

1. Describe yourself in 3 words?

Hard working, stubborn and persistent

2. How do you stay healthy and fit with your busy schedule?

I used to workout three times a week, but in the last two years, because of my working schedule, my workouts are irregular. Now I try to get a workout in whenever I can and be sure to eat healthy.

3. What was the greatest challenge you faced at Real Madrid?

What was your best moment at Real Madrid? Both answers are the same - fufilling my expectations of such a legendary club as Real Madrid.

4. Have you been to the UAE?

I’ve never been there before so I look forward to meeting new people and experiencing the culture.

5. What is your number one workout tip?

Persistence, no pain no gain and push through the pain.

6. If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you like to have with you?

I would bring water, a speargun and my wife, Gorana.

7. If we came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare for us?

Barbecue, because it´s the only thing I know how to cook.

8. What advice would you give to kids about achieving their goals?

Love and enjoy what you do and work hard every day.

9. If you were a fruit, what would you be and why?

Pineapple because I am sweet inside and spiky on the outside.

3. What is included with Royal Box and Courtside tickets?

These ticket holders will receive access to a pre-game reception attended by all the players participating in the celebrity game. The reception is being held one hour prior to the start of the game. Kobe Bryant is not currently confirmed to attend; however he may make a special appearance. These ticket holders also receive a gift bag which includes a jersey or shirt signed by Soulja Boy, Rachel Omolewu and the Real Madrid basketball legends team as well as other gift items from the event partners. They are also granted access to an autograph signing session by the Real Madrid basketball legends immediately following the slam dunk competition.

4. Are there any group discounts on tickets to the celebrity game?

Group discounts are available for ticket purchases of 20 or more. Please email info@mavenmarketingandevents.com with the number of tickets you are requesting (and category). Someone from our team will get back to you within 24 hours.

5. Will Kobe play in the celebrity game?

Kobe will be leading the team warm-up and coaching the celebrity game. This will be very exciting for the audience as he will wear a wireless microphone during one half. Fans will be able to get a glimpse into the mind of a five-time champion during the game.

6. Is there an age restriction on who can watch the celebrity basketball game?

Children of all ages are welcome.

7. Will I be able to get an autograph?

The Real Madrid basketball legends will be holding a one-hour autograph signing session immediately following the slam dunk competition. Attendees with VIP, Royal Box and Courtside tickets will be able to attend the autograph session. Some of the other celebrity game players may also decide to stay and sign autographs if they choose. Kobe Bryant will not be in the autograph session.

8. How can I win a chance to enter the slam dunk competition?
